A traveller's haven in Taipei

The washing machine and dryer were so helpful. The weighing scale was also very helpful, that is a good idea. The room is great value for money. Will recommend it to my friends. The location is very good with a lot of shops nearby.

It would be better to have an easy way to reach the lobby with a big bag.

Very good hotel and breakfast, friendly and professional staff, some minor disadvantages

I liked: (1) friendliness and professionalism of the staff. (2) cleanliness and functionality of the entire hotel. (3) extensive breakfast included in the price, both Western and Chinese breakfast is offered. (4) the price-performance ratio. (5) free use of washing machine and tumble dryer.

I didn't like: (1) No wardrobe in the room to store or hang up the clothes you brought with you - this is not mentioned at all in the room description on booking.com or elsewhere (it only says what is available: "a clothes rack" and never what a traveler might be missing: "a wardrobe"). I was only able to discover this fact afterwards in a single customer review. There are only a few hangers and a few hooks (in the inexpensive rooms). The more expensive ones also have a few open shelves in the wet room area. This may be OK for short-term stays. It is unreasonable for a long-term guest to have to live out of a suitcase. (2) There are no international TV channels such as CNN or BBC, only Taiwanese and some Japanese channels. (3) The nearest subway station, Mingde, is about 20 minutes away on foot, so you always have to take a bus first. The hotel is also quite far from the center, so a trip to Taipei101 can take almost an hour in total. However, Tianmu is a fairly international district of Taipei that offers many advantages.

Great hotel to stay

Breakfast was good. There are bus stops outside not far away so reaching the subway is ok. The room was comfy and clean. The room design is functional . The staff are very nice and friendly!

For the price, it was a great deal. Also, we needed to be in this specific neighborhood in Taipei, so we were very happ

we were there for several days, so we appreciated the free washer and dryer. the front desk monitored the machines so no one customer could tie up the machines. we also loved the breakfasts

just be aware there is no separate closet, though there is an area with a clothing bar to hang clothes. Also, there was no bureaus or drawers to put clothes. We use packing cubes, so not a big deal, but for some travelers, it could be.

Not too bad

Staff were friendly, facilities and amenities were good. In the lobby there was a free laundry service and breakfast provided but we didn't use it. In our family room we had free Doritos snacks, tea and coffee as well. Toilet was also the heated type.

Hotel parking was omg. Only 12 spaces to fight for and it's a first come first serve thing. What's more, the underground space is not very big. I wouldn't choose this place if I'm driving. It was the only place where the staff required us to show all the occupants' passports. There's no lift from the underground garage to the lobby so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs.

Nice and convenient in the hart of Tianmu

One of the few hotel of this level located in the hard of Tianmu. Friendly staff, good buffet breakfast. Good overall price quality ratio.

One evening, the occupants of the neighboring room were quite noisy. This revealed that sound isolation is not at its best.
